M&A deals worth over $1.3bn done in Feb: Grant Thornton

Driven by strong momentum in M&A activity, India Inc saw a five-fold jump as deals worth over USD 1.3 billion were closed. Cross border M&A deals done were worth USD 1.16 billion, while domestic M&A deals were clocked at USD 154 million, bringing the total to USD 1.32 billion. In all 246 M&A deals were done. In an interview with CNBC-TV18, CG Srividya, Partner, Grant Thornton gave her perspective on the deals closed by India Inc in February.
